Tactics, Rage, and Steel
The Warrior is the heart of any assault and the cornerstone of any defense. While masters of their craft in TBC, we aim to refine their specializations further, enhancing their rotational depth, group utility, and overall battlefield presence to make each spec feel as legendary as their wielder.
Arms ⚔️
Target: No DPS Adjustment (Focus on Sustained Damage/Utility)
The disciplined soldier and master of the two-handed weapon. We sharpen their blade with a more dynamic rotation and unique raid utility, making them more than just a mortal strike machine.
Core Fixes 🔧
Mortal Strike and Deep Wounds now scale better with gear. The Overpower proc from Taste for Blood is more consistent, smoothing out the rotation.
The Blood Frenzy talent is reworked. Your Rend and Deep Wounds abilities now apply a debuff to the target, allowing all bleed effects on that target to critically strike.
Power Infusions ✨
A new capstone talent. Become an unstoppable storm of steel, hitting all nearby enemies and granting immunity to crowd control. The ultimate AoE burst cooldown.
Charge now also refreshes Battle Shout duration and leaves a Shieldwall Marker for 6 sec at your landing spot. Allies who cross it gain 10 Rage and +5% damage.
Your Sunder Armor also applies a bleed that ticks for 30% of the sunder damage over 6 sec. Refreshing it extends both effects.
Fury 🩸
Target DPS Tune: -16-20% (Tune top-end, improve early game/threat)
The frenzied berserker, a whirlwind of steel and rage. We temper their late-game scaling while improving their early-game consistency and threat management.
Core Fixes 🔧
New talents are introduced to improve early-game rage generation from critical strikes, making the leveling and gearing process smoother.
A new passive talent reduces the threat generated by your core abilities, Bloodthirst and Whirlwind, allowing you to unleash your full fury with less risk of pulling aggro.
Power Infusions ✨
A powerful instant strike that becomes usable only when you are Enraged. It adds a hard-hitting, reactive button to your rotation during your most furious moments.
Whirlwind’s final hit deals 50% extra damage and spreads Deep Wounds to up to 2 additional nearby enemies.
Each successive Bloodthirst cast within 5 sec deals 3% more damage (stacking up to 5 times) and reduces its cooldown by 0.5 sec per stack.
Protection 🛡️
Target: Improve AoE Threat & Group Utility
The unyielding bulwark, commander of the battlefield. We bolster their AoE threat generation and grant them powerful new tools to control their enemies and protect their allies.
Core Fixes & Buffs 🔧
Thunder Clap's damage and threat are significantly increased. The cooldown on Shield Slam is reduced, and Devastate applies its debuff faster, improving threat on all fronts.
Key survival cooldowns like Shield Wall and Last Stand have their timers reduced. Utility stuns like Concussion Blow are also more readily available.
Power Infusions ✨
A new talent that sends a wave of force in a cone, stunning all enemies hit. This provides incredible control and snap threat on multi-mob pulls.
Shield Slam also grants nearby allies a Bulwark buff for 6 sec that absorbs damage equal to 5% of their max health.
Intervene on an ally also grants them Wind’s Grace: 10 sec of 10% damage reduction and a Slow Fall effect.
